Wrapping up my first tour with The World of Hans Zimmer just before the holidays was an emotional rollercoaster. It felt like a success, not only because I made it through the entire tour healthy enough to play every single show, but also because of the incredible experience itself. Each show was a journey, a blend of energy, passion and connection.

21 cities in 12 countries in 7 weeks

When it ended, I was hit with a wave of physical exhaustion and sadness. Stopping something so powerful, so magical, was bittersweet.

Being on the road was thrilling. The tour itself was incredible, and it wasn’t easy to let go of the close friendships we had made along the way.

There were so many highlights. Every day there was a new city, a new culture. I made it my mission to explore every place before the sound check. Walking through the unfamiliar streets of Lisbon, soaking up the salt in the air of Málaga and feeling the rhythm of each city became part of my daily routine. It gave me stability in the midst of a fast-paced touring life.

One moment that will always stay with me was our last show in Málaga, Spain, just before the holidays. The audience was electrified: they stomped, screamed and stood for minutes. They were completely present and lived every moment of the show with us. It was a powerful exchange of energy that I will never forget.

As an artist, I learnt so much on this tour. I realised how much I still have to learn about the industry, but I am also very grateful for it. Performing alongside such high calibre musicians and music makers has made me grow both on and off the stage.

It’s a journey I’ve only just begun and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
